Couples Counselling

Is couples counselling a last resort?

All relationships go through difficult patches and it’s safe to say that a good relationship will need both parties to pay it care and attention from time to time. The good news is that with a little bit of TLC and a dollop of common sense couples who are committed to being together really can make it work.

Couples Counselling will help you to learn to talk to each other in a more productive way, help you to better understand each other and hopefully help you to learn to forgive your partner’s shortcomings as well as learning to ask for what you want.

But Couples Counselling doesn’t always have to be about staying together. Some couples come to counselling as a way of separating in an amicable way and find that having a third party to talk things through with is the easiest way to part without acrimony.

Couples often wait until they are in stormy waters before they come to Couples Counselling and usually say that they regret not coming sooner. We very much welcome couples coming at any point in their relationship to learn how to be with each other with less stress and more ease.
