Dr Jackie Gorman and Dr Amie Smith are chartered Clinical Psychologists who specialise in working with children, young people and their families and carers. Together they have over twenty years of clinical experience in a range of settings. Jackie and Amie’s interests include family relations, parenting, mental health, chronic illness, learning disabilities, brain injury, systemic practice and consultation.
Don’t be put off by the ‘Dr’ part, though: they are both incredibly warm and engaging people and we are delighted to have them as part of The Lightwell Practice. They love working together with families, individuals and groups of all ages to help people make the changes that they desire.
Jackie and Amie are members of the Division of Clinical Psychology, Faculty for Children and Young People, Faculty for Learning Disabilities and the Association for Infant Mental Health. Alongside being chartered by the British Psychological Society, Jackie and Amie are also professionally regulated by the Health Professions Council.
